"NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, version xxx.xx stopped responding" issue

There are multiple things you can try:
http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/66884 - Try downloading the driver for your video card. If I'm not mistaken that's the most updated version, but I could well be wrong. If so, go into device manager and click the dropdown arrow next to "display adapters", and right-click your graphics card then click "update driver software..."

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling your graphics card and then restarting your computer, it'll detect the graphics card and reinstall it which will hopefully get rid of any errors as well as install the latest version and driver.

Let me know if you're still having trouble after trying that, good luck.
